It’s a beautiful day in Chinatown, and Mia and Uncle Eddie are strolling to the Big Wok restaurant. There’s so much to see on the way: one panda, two stone lions, three swimming turtles… As they visit icons of Chinese culture, past and present, another sightseer joins them on their journey. Will Mia make a new friend before they reach the Big Wok? And what yummies will they find in the Big Wok Restaurant?

Ying-Hwa Hu, the co-illustrator of Sam and the Lucky Money, has written and illustrated a colorful and amazing children’s book called Ten Blocks to the Big Wok. Please join us and Ying-Hwa Hu for a fun bilingual (English + Mandarin) children’s book reading where we will join Mia, her uncle, and a new friend as they stroll through Chinatown counting from 1-10!!
