Inspired by the Grace Lee Boggs quote, "the only way to survive is by taking care of one another," Safe With Me is a song and music video that archives small moments of care, joy, and tenderness created in community—from the vibrant block parties of Chinatown to sweet friendship hangs in the park. Through an acoustic share of the song and music video screening, this event offers a space to reflect on and dream up what it means to be in community care and safety.

Additionally, in partnership with Year of the Tiger Records, there will be a pre-release sale of AERI's upcoming record, Shelter Tide, in which Safe with Me is featured. Half the proceeds from the records will go to the Watermelon Relief: Aid for Displaced Families in Gaza.

AERI is a singer-songwriter who aims to foster collective tenderness through raw lyricism and alt-ambient soundscapes. She is soon releasing her sophomore EP, Shelter Tide on incessant cycles and the call for safety outside them.
